Common Questions About Care

Can I combine multiple Care plans?

Absolutely. In fact, many of our clients run two or more plans simultaneously. For example, a Retainer paired with a Hotline gives you both structured weekly support and on-demand emergency access. We'll help you design the right combination during onboarding.

Do I need to have completed a Tactant Solution first?

Not necessarily. While many Care clients begin after a Solution engagement (Audit, Sprint, etc.), we also onboard standalone Care clients. We'll conduct an onboarding assessment to get up to speed on your business before support begins.

How long are Care plan contracts?

Our minimum engagement is typically 3 months, though most clients stay significantly longer. We offer 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month terms, each with different rates. There is no lock-in beyond the agreed term.

Who will I be working with on the Care team?

You'll be assigned a named senior strategist from day one — someone with direct experience in your industry or challenge area. We don't rotate junior staff through your account. Your strategist stays with you for the duration of the engagement.

What does the Hotline response guarantee mean exactly?

Hotline clients receive an initial response from a senior strategist within the same business day — typically within 2 hours for messages received before 3pm. For urgent matters flagged as critical, our target response is under 1 hour during business hours.

Can I upgrade or change my plan mid-contract?

Yes. Plans can be upgraded at any time with a 30-day notice period for changes. We'll pro-rate any additional costs and adjust your billing cycle accordingly. Downgrading is also possible at the end of a contract term.
